Joseph Burt ERPA, APA, QPA

President

Joseph M. Burt is the President of Pension Plan Specialists P.C., a Third Party Administrator based in the Pacific Northwest. Joe is a frequent speaker at both industry and non-industry events where he focuses on effecting change by encouraging others to, “Think Differently!”. Joe has 23 years of experience helping clients with Defined Contribution plans, ESOP, 403(b) and Defined Benefit Plans including Cash Balance and serves as 3(16) Fiduciary for some clients. Additionally, he has earned several professional designations from industry associations including ERPA, APA, QPA and QKA. Joe has been honored to serve as the President of the National Institute of Pension Administrators where he is currently the Immediate Past President and is a proud member of ASPPA. He served on the Nike World Master Games Board of Directors for three years. He is also a founding Member of The Cerrado Group and a member of its Executive Committee. Joe is married and lives in Vancouver, WA with his beautiful wife and their four lovely daughters.

Rosalynn Ritschard

VP of Operations

Rosalynn graduated from Santa Clara with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. She is a CPA and received her CPA license in Oregon. She has been with Pension Plan Specialists and its predecessor companies for more than 29 years. She started her career in the retirement plan business working on administration of qualified retirement plans, specializing in 401(k) and profit sharing plans. Rosalynn is the Vice President of Operations for PPS and she oversees all of the daily operations of PPS and the plan administration operations and staff. Rosalynn is married and lives in Gresham, OR with her husband and three children. She believes in giving back to her community. She is very active in her church and works as a volunteer in the St. Vincent DePaul food pantry.

Marc Steinman

Director of Sales and Consulting

Marc is the Director of New Business & Consulting at Pension Plan Specialists. He is focused on supporting clients and advisors by providing new ideas and strategies that have been proven to develop successful retirement plans in many states and across all types of industries. Marc is uniquely qualified having spent more than 10 years working as a Plan Consultant on some of the most technical and challenging plans and more than 15 years overall in the industry. He excels in creating a customized Plan for each individual company he works with and thrives in an environment that requires careful thought and promotes new learning. Marc attended Western Washington University and received his degree in Accounting. Marc is married and lives in Vancouver, WA with his wife and their two daughters. When he is not working with clients, Marc enjoys playing basketball, golf, water skiing and spending time with his family.
